A woman who just delivered a set of twins about eleven days ago committed suicide when she jumped into Osun river in Osun State.
The deceased who was simply identified as Shekinat Abdurazaq was said to have given alms and said a little prayer before jumping from Osun River Bridge on the Oke Gada Road into the river around 3.30pm yesterday.
An Eye witness informed that nobody knew that the lady wanted to kill herself else they could have prevented her from doing so.
While sympathisers were still trying to recover the woman’s body,her husband also tried to jump into the river but was quickly prevented by onlookers and handled over to the police.
The woman is said to be a faithful wife and a peaceful neighbour.
The state Police Public Relations Officer, Mrs Folasade Odoro, confirmed the incident and told us that the husband has been placed under surveillance at the Police “A” Division in Ede,Osun State.

Sum1 said RIP sori to say, dere is no peace for becos she took her own life by herself expect it is a spell dy cased on her. Bt dis world is a wicked place. Pls no matter wat don't commit suicide is a bad tin.
